Fernando Leal

Fernando Leal is an illustrator and animator from São Paulo, Brazil. His style is characterized by strict geometry and the use of elements that Fernando finds in urban spaces and their graphic features. After spending an extended period in London, where he studied at the Royal College of Art, Fernando now lives and works in Berlin. His time in other countries and cities serves as an important source of inspiration for him, as he explores them through the eyes of an outsider and interprets them in his art. In this way, he brings out details and characteristics that escape the accustomed eye and creates a visual world of the familiar that is entirely his own.
