Tanja Hildebrandt

Tanja Hildebrandt works as an illustrator and pattern designer in Berlin. She loves combining seemingly contradictory elements and the contrast that results from them. Her work is characterized by the combination of rough shapes and fine lines, the synthesis of black and bold colors, and the interplay between the figurative and the abstract. Tanja prefers to work with traditional, analog methods. Her desk is at Stattlab, a screen-printing studio in Wedding. There, she transfers her designs onto paper and textiles. Her collection now includes prints, stationery items, and accessories.
